Everything you need to know about staying in an EYRE.WAY Tiny Abode.

  • Each of our EYRE.WAY Tiny Abodes includes a compact designer kitchen, with facilities including a bar fridge, two-burner gas cooktop, brushed gold tapware, boutique-styled tiles and all the utensils and equipment to cook up a storm.

All bedding for the King Size bed is provided, as is the linen for the double bed overhead on the mezzanine floor, ideal for the kids. We are excited to have partnered with BED Threads and I Love Linen to provide 100% flax linen, ethically produced, in all our Tiny Abodes. A cosy, unique, stylist-designed lounge also converts into a double bed. Towels are also supplied.

Inside, find a full ensuite, including a two-person shower, flushing toilet and handmade clay Moroccan tiles from Tiles of Ezra. A cosy lounge and breakfast bar boasts panoramic views of the natural surrounds. The oversized, double-glazed windows truly bring the outside in. Open the electric blinds from the comfort of your king-sized bed, to say hello to the stunning views.

Each Tiny Abode is completely powered by its own solar-battery power system that facilitates reverse-cycle air conditioning (power for approximately 7 hours per day), instant gas hot and cold water, bar fridge, powerpoints and lighting. High-speed WiFi and a booster for Telstra phone service is provided.

Timber decking and outdoor seating complement the nearby campfire, complete with outdoor cooking equipment. (Note the campfire is subject to local Fire Ban Regulations.) Find an outdoor shower as well - perfect for washing off after a swim or walk through surrounding bushland, and for those who want to get really in touch with nature.

You might also like to bring:

    • Something snuggly for cooler evenings.

    • Swimwear, for eco-tourism exploration.

  • EYRE.WAY is located in the most pristine parts of the Eyre Peninsula, We work closely with National Parks and wildlife, Coastal Care and the Environmental board in protecting the endangered species that surround our Tiny Abodes. This protection often involves setting baits for foxes that are highly poisonous for pet dogs as well. Due to this we cannot risk having dogs on the sites so unfortunately you will have to leave them at home, or bring them to Port Lincoln and leave them in one of our trusted dog kennels where they will be cared for during your stay

  • EYRE.WAY Tiny Abodes will not produce any carbon emissions, thanks to battery-powered solar systems, compostable flushing toilets (sawdust toilets), and a biological process that turns human waste into compostable material. Water is caught from the roof into a rainwater tank, and the grey water is removed off-site into an approved drainage system. In the kitchen, find gas cooking, which is a clean energy alternative and burns more cleanly than other fossil fuels, thereby producing less greenhouse gas emissions.

We also partner with brands and local businesses that are committed to sustainability and environmentally friendly practices.

At EYRE.WAY, we’re serious about sustainability. Waste products are disposed of appropriately, away from the sites and we rely heavily on nature to provide our power and water. All water tanks are filled prior to your arrival, but we do ask that you give mother nature a helping hand by keeping the environment in mind. Be mindful of precious water use and dispose of rubbish and recycling the best way possible.

  • The Tiny Abodes have running water and flushing toilets, with enough battery power in the solar system for around 7 hours of power and hot water each day.

Living off-grid means using alternative methods of waste disposal and water saving. Please remember to reduce your electricity and water usage. We primarily rely on rain and sun to run our Tiny Abodes! However, we always ensure batteries are fully charged and water tanks are full.

WIFI is not available - we want to you to truly disconnect from all devices on your stay and reconnect with nature, your loved ones and yourself.

Take a breath out… uninhibited exploration awaits you.
